pastel in norwich marketI sat down on the pavement, leaning against the wall of the Guildhall, to do this plein air sketch in Norwich market in pastels.
After walking around the market for a while, this is the view I liked. I know it's a bit obscure, but I liked the similarity between the shape of the church spire in the background and the large ice cream sculpture/ thingey on the pavement. This sold the view to me and could crack on. Then a taxi parked right in front of me - but that's a hazard of plein air in such places.
