painted at perranporth in oilsThis is my first painting in oils for well over a year. Painted on the beach at Perranporth this morning. Sun broke through briefly but then pretty dull.

However, a beach is never dull while people are walking their dogs, surfing and all the usual things . Our friends who live in Perranporth brought down a pint of beer for me from the beach pub calle the Watering Hole - I am reliably informed that it is the best pub in the world. i wouldn't argue with that.

Several people came to chat - they often do - usually with some story to tell me about their own painting experience. Which is nice and I welcome all of that. Even the dogs are OK as long as they don't kick my glass over. Anyway -  a nice way to spend an hour and a half.
