Painting snow on trees using pastels

snow in cambridge in pastelsBack to reality. Snow in Cambridge. Did this from the roof of the car park in Park Street, Cambridge on the weekend. We've had snow but no wind, and the result is that the snow has hung on the branches of the trees, which produces the kind of stark skeleton you see here. And I've exaggerated this somewhat. It's a very wide angle view so the people walking along the pavement are viewed almost from above.
