Posted On: Thursday 20th September 2012
Summary: While I waited for my son to arrive on the cycling part of the IronMan, I walked down to the harbour at Saundersfoot to do this quick sketch in pastel

pastel at harbourWhile I waited for our son David to arrive at Saundersfoot so we could cheer him on, I walked down to the harbour and did this small pastel. I didn't dare take long - I would have been in big trouble if he passed at the bottom of "Heartbreak Hill" as it's called, without being on hand to shout.

All was well, though,as he stomped through, punching the air at us as he went up the hill. I think I'll stick to painting!
