My son Marcus and I, teed off on the first hole later in the morning, but I got up early to catch the early golfers setting off into the sun. It was cool and the air was crisp with not a breath of wind. A golfer's dream. These guys were pretty happy, and I was too, set up to paint them in pastels from under the shade of a massive oak tree.I was happy with this plein air pastel - I just wish I could say the same about my round later in the morning. Like painting, it's all about practice.....
