A clump of dandelion heads painted in pastels

Summary: I had ten minutes to paint these dandelions in pastels before the lawnmower arrived

dandelions seed heads painted with pastelsThese dandelion seed heads were in my son's lawn until my wife came along and cut them down with the lawnmower - no consideration for the poor artist I thought.

So I had about ten minutes to do a small painting of them with pastels. Mostly I used hard sakura carre pastels, with just a little soft white for the seed heads towards the finish.
