tits on garden feeder pen drawingThese sparrows on the bird feeder  were in constant motion, so the way to execute even a small sketch like this is to take a mental snapshot of a bird, draw it, look up and do another one, and so on. I'm working on finishing a portrait commission in oil at the moment  and the contrast between a human sitter and birds in constant activity coudn't be greater.
